A man was stabbed Friday morning in the 400 block of West Third Street in Duluth.

The victim is hospitalized with non-life threatening wounds, said Duluth Police Sgt. Leigh Wright, head of the department's violent crimes unit.

The stabbing was reported about 9:45 a.m.

"It is under investigation," Wright said. "We don't have anyone in custody at this time."

"We do have a suspect in mind," Wright said, adding that the suspect and victim knew each other.
