Police have been inundated with calls after about 1,700 notices were mailed last week to people who were delinquent in paying parking tickets in Duluth, according to the Duluth Police Department.
The high volume of responses has prompted the department to reassure callers that someone will return their call, although it might take a few days.
Call 730-5470 and the department said someone will return your call in about three business days. Payments can be sent to Traffic Violation Bureau, P.O. Box 2064, Tarrytown, N.Y., 10591-9064 or pay online at parkingticketpayment.com/duluth. Cash payments are not accepted.
