A group of juveniles have been arrested in connection with Saturday morning's fire in the Lester Park Elementary School playground, Duluth police said this morning.
In a news release, police said an investigation concluded that the juveniles were experimenting with fire in the playground. The fire eventually spread and destroyed the playground.
Charges of felony negligent fire arson in the fifth degree have been submitted to the St. Louis County Attorney's Office, the news release said.
Because of their ages, police did not release the juveniles' names.
