The victim was known to the suspect and was not injured.

Duluth police arrested a 20-year-old man after he allegedly shot at his girlfriend Thursday night in downtown Duluth.

At 8:20 p.m. Thursday, officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of West Second Street, according to a news release from the Duluth Police Department. Initial reporting informed officers that two vehicles had left the scene quickly.

Police then received a second call from the girlfriend. She said she was shot at and provided the name of the suspect and description of his vehicle. She was not injured.

Officers later located the suspect's vehicle on the 1400 block of East First Street and arrested the man. He's been booked into the St. Louis County Jail.
