Motorists frustrated about the trials of trying to park in downtown Duluth will get a receptive audience for their woes -- and maybe some solutions.
On Monday, a panel of national experts brought to town by the city of
Duluth and the Greater Downtown Council will convene at 8 a.m. at the Holiday Center to hear firsthand the problems of parking in downtown.
A follow-up breakfast meeting will be at the Radisson at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, at which the panelists will give their recommendations. Reservations are required for the breakfast and can be obtained by calling (218) 727-8549 or e-mailing kjohnson@downtownduluth.com .
The public is especially encouraged to attend the Monday meeting, said Kristi Stokes, president of the Greater Downtown Council.

"Our goal is to ask questions, share comments and for the panelists to share best practices and what they've seen in their communities," she said.
