A Duluth man pleaded guilty Friday in St. Louis County District Court to six felony counts of second-degree burglary in a crime spree between July and September.

Shaune Aleck St. Germaine, 20, admitted to burglarizing at least 13 Duluth residences. Under terms of a plea agreement, the defendant would serve a four-year, nine-month prison sentence, St. Louis County prosecutor Mark Rubin said.

Sixth Judicial District Judge Shaun Floerke ordered an investigation of St. Germaine's background before sentencing, which is scheduled for next month.

St. Germaine informed the court that he is receiving Social Security disability for fetal alcohol syndrome-related issues. He has no prior adult criminal record.

Rubin said St. Germaine has agreed to cooperate with police in recovering items stolen in the burglaries.
