A Duluth man facing charges related to stalking six women joggers and walkers in the Kenwood and University of Minnesota Duluth areas in March has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman near Virginia.
Michael Daniel Arnold, 26, was charged Monday with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of third-degree assault in St. Louis County District Court, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office said.
Arnold was being held in the St. Louis County Jail on $150,000 bail. His next court date is set for Oct. 18.
In the stalking case, Arnold faces six counts of harassment or stalking by following or pursuing.
