The lights on Duluth’s Aerial Lift Bridge and Enger Tower will be turned off for one hour tonight as part of the worldwide observance of Earth Hour.
From 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., the landmarks will go dark “as a demonstration of our support and commitment for sustainable practices to protect the environment and precious natural resources,” the city announced.
Residents are encouraged to take part by turning out lights in their home for the hour. Learn more at www.earthhour.org .
