An arson fire destroyed one car, damaged a second and a garage overnight, the Duluth Fire Department reports.
The fire on the 2800 block of Wellington Street in the Lincoln Park/West End neighborhood was reported at 3:15 a.m. Fire-fighters found a 2001 Toyota Camry and a 1999 Toyota Camry on fire. One car was destroyed and the other extensively damaged. The fire also melted siding on the garage.
Assistant Fire Chief Richard Mattson said juveniles with a gas can had been seen in the area.
