Lee R. Anderson left a mark on Duluth’s development, and now he’s after our palates as well.
The head of the multibillion-dollar APi Group and co-founder of Duluth’s A&L Properties - responsible for the Duluth Technology Village, Wieland Block and others - will be pouring wines from his Croatian vineyard Dec. 18 at an exclusive dinner.
Anderson returns to Bellisio’s to present wines from his high-end Korta Katarina Vineyards paired with a four-course “Best of Bellisio’s” meal.
“This night will be intimate, entertaining, educational and one of the finest culinary and wine experiences you will ever experience,” says the invitation from the Canal Park restaurant.
The dinner marks the third time Anderson has presented his wines at such a dinner, having started in 2013 and missing last year.

The 76-year-old and his wife, Penny, went on a humanitarian mission to Croatia in 2001 and fell in love with the area and the wine. Located on the Adriatic coast, Korta Katarina released its first vintage in 2006.
The dinner will feature Anderson discussing the wines, which are unique to the region.
Tickets for the 6 p.m. dinner Dec. 18 are $109 each. Call 727-4921 or buy them at Bellisio’s at 405 Lake Ave. S.
