Duluth bowhunter Jeff Murray pleaded not guilty to trespassing when he was arraigned today in St. Louis County District Court.
Murray, 57, an outdoor journalist and consultant to the bowhunting industry, is charged with four counts of misdemeanor trespassing for allegedly posting no trespassing signs on public property, discouraging recreation by the public in an area that he hunted. The crime is punishable by a maximum potential sentence of 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.
Murray's next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 28.
