Duluth biathlete third at Vermont rollerski event

Beth Ann Chamberlain of Duluth finished third in the 7.5-kilometer sprint event at the U.S. Biathlon Summer Rollerski Festival in Jericho, Vt., on Saturday.

Beth Ann Chamberlain of Duluth finished third in the 7.5-kilometer sprint event at the U.S. Biathlon Summer Rollerski Festival in Jericho, Vt., on Saturday.

Chamberlain, a Grand Rapids native and member of the U.S. Biathlon Development Team, had the best shooting performance of the day, missing only two shots. Chamberlain finished 36 second behind event-winner Denise Teela of Anchorage, Alaska.

The summer festival concluded a three-week training camp in Lake Placid, N.Y., and Jericho for the U.S. national team.
