A man will undergo a psychological evaluation after driving recklessly and very fast through Aurora on Tuesday evening, running down numerous signs and nearly hitting people who were out and about, according to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Department.
Authorities responded to a complaint about a reckless driver about 8 p.m. Tuesday. They located the 69-year-old suspect at the Lucky Seven in Aurora. Police say he had just crashed his pickup into one of the gas pumps.
Authorities say the suspect apparently did the damage intentionally, for unknown reasons. The man was arrested and the incident is under investi-gation.
