A 32-year-old Aurora man was transported to a Duluth hospital with life-threatening injuries following a head-on collision on state Highway 135 on Tuesday.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that Brandon Lee Miller was driving a Smart car west on Highway 135 when he lost control and crossed into the eastbound lane shortly before 8 a.m. in White Township. The car collided head on with a Ford truck that was traveling east on the highway, which was snowy and icy at the time.
Miller was transported to Essentia Health-Northern Pines in Aurora and then to St. Luke’s hospital in Duluth with life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol. The driver and passenger in the Ford truck were uninjured.
