Driver also killed in St. Louis River crash

The Minnesota State Patrol released the name of the driver who also died in Tuesday's fatal crash into the St. Louis River.

The driver of the Ford Explorer which crashed into the St. Louis River Tuesday around noon was also killed in the U.S. Interstate 35 crash, according to new information released from the Minnesota State Patrol Wednesday.

Steven Henry Kimber, 80, of Carlton died in the crash when the vehicle left the road on I-35 near mile 239 and submerged into the river. The state patrol had previously reported that the vehicle's passenger, Barbara Jean Kimber, 78, also of Carlton, had died Tuesday as well.
