Barker's Island in Superior is alive with dragons for the 10th annual Lake Superior Dragon Boat Festival.

The festival is free for spectators and a free shuttle runs between Mariner Mall (near Ember's Restaurant) and Barker's Island from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. today. Get more info at www.lakesuperiordragons.com .

  • Pancake breakfast: 7-11 a.m.
  • Races: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Magician David James: 9 a.m.
  • Children's activities: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Superior Singers: 10 a.m.
  • Sterling Silver Dance & Twirling Studio: 11 a.m.
  • Rose Petal Ceremony: noon.
  • Korean Sword Demonstration: 1 p.m.
  • All About Music: 2 p.m.
  • Crescent Moon Band: 3 p.m.
  • Final race heats: 5 p.m.
  • Awards and Closing Ceremony: 6 p.m.
