Donald and Marilyn Pykkonen of Esko celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a celebration at their family lake property.
Donald and the former Marilyn Filby were married June 7, 1958, in Messiah Lutheran Church in Duluth.
Their children are Beth Esselstrom of Esko; John and Kathy Pykkonen of Oshkosh, Wis.; and Jeffrey Pykkonen of Duluth. They have five grandchildren.
Donald is retired from Pioneer National Bank in Duluth. Marilyn is retired from RAM Mutual Insurance in Esko.
