Don and Alice Sjoding of Grand Marais will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with their family at a later date.
Don and the former Alice Carlson were married June 19, 1943, in Omaha, Neb.
Their children are Carol and Scott Custead of Hollidaysburg, Pa.; Donna and Stan Amidon of Minneapolis; and Carl and Patricia Sjoding of Duluth. They have nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Don is a retired ear/nose/throat physician from the Mankato (Minn.) Clinic. Alice is a homemaker.
