Domestic dispute results in arrest on Iron Range

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office received a report of shots being fired in the midst of a domestic dispute at a rural Chisholm residence on McCormack Lake Road at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Officers arrested a 48-year-old Biwabik man a short distance from the home for allegedly causing minor injuries that did not require immediate medical attention. The injuries were not the result of the gunfire also reported on the scene. The suspect was detained at the St. Louis County Jail in Hibbing, pending formal charges. The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office reports the case remains under investigation.
