Do it/ look for wildlife

If you're sitting on a deer stand this week, you'll likely see and hear a lot of other wildlife in addition to deer.

Here's a quick checklist of other critters out and about. Keep a mental checklist as you hunt and see how many you can come up with:

* Pine marten

* Timber wolf

* Gray jay

* Fisher

* Raven

* Great gray owl

* Chickadee

* Red-breasted nuthatch

* Ruffed grouse

* Moose

* Vole

* Mouse (doesn't count if seen in the deer shack)

* Red fox
