Dan and Maree Skorich of Marble celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
Dan and the former Maree Vranesh were married Oct. 17, 1937, in St. Vasijle of Ostrog Serbian Orthodox Church in Chisholm.
Their children are Michael and Helen Skorich of Grand Rapids; Michele Picchiotti of Las Vegas; and Dan and Rosey Skorich of Duluth. They have seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Dan is retired from Burlington Northern Railway in Grand Rapids. Maree is retired from Itasca Community College in Grand Rapids.
