In September, reviewer John Ziegler said of Andy Elwell's new album "New Ground": "It's worth exploring for Elwell's unique, pensive, probing narratives and those moments of pure adrenaline."
Elwell plays Beaner's Central with The Breeze and Dustin Phillips. The show starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are $5.
Elwell's work has been licensed for use on MTV as well as the Lifetime Network and Oxygen.
The former Duluthian who was in the local band Islero now lives in Minneapolis.
