Culvert work to temporarily close roads in Cook County

Weather permitting, the Cook County Highway Department will be replacing two cross-culverts in the county on Wednesday and Thursday, said a county news release.
Work on Wednesday will feature cross-culvert replacement on County Road 6, approximately 1 mile north of County Road 7, or 500 feet south of Brandon Lane. Travelers should expect a delay of up to 45 minutes between 9 a.m. and noon.
On Thursday, cross-culvert replacement will occur on County Road 60, approximately 500 feet east of County Road 56, or Dairy Road. Travelers should expect a delay of up to 45 minutes between 9 a.m. and noon.
