The Damiano Center is hosting Legal Services Day to connect people who have legal issues with resources to assist them.

Legal Services Day will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Damiano Center, 206 W. Fourth St. In addition, people will be able to resolve outstanding warrants from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Representatives will be available from Legal Aid Services of Northeastern Minnesota, the Volunteer Attorney Program and Zenith Law Center. A variety of services will be provided on issues that include family law, senior law, HRA accommodations, domestic violence, and debt and garnishment.

The Public Defender’s Office and Duluth Courts will also be available at the Damiano Center for people to resolve outstanding warrants. Anyone with outstanding warrants from anywhere in Minnesota will be able to speak with a public defender or prosecutor, arrange to pay fines or have a hearing before a judge.
