A new St. Louis County vitals records office is opening in Virginia.

The Virginia Vital Records Office will provide citizens of Virginia and the surrounding area with improved access to birth and death records and marriage licenses, according to a St. Louis County news release.

Opening of the office completes a transfer of records from the District Court to the County Recorder's Office.

The office is located in Room 105 of the St. Louis County Courthouse, 300 South Fifth Avenue in Virginia.

The office will make records' services conveniently available to citizens in their own community, said St. Louis County Commissioner Keith Nelson.
