Jeff Dunham will perform at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center in one of the first events scheduled for the new Amsoil Arena.
The ventriloquist and stand-up comedian will perform at 5 p.m. Jan. 16. Tickets are $46.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. today. Billy "Guitar Guy" Hanes is opening.
Dunham is known for his cast of dummies, including a crabby old man and a jalapeno whose catchphrase is "On a steeek." The show is part of the award-winning comedian's "Identity Crisis Tour," which is heavy in tour dates across the United States, Mexico and Canada.
In the fall of 2009, "The Jeff Dunham Show" debuted on Comedy Central.
