GOPHERS update Senior G Kellen Briggs is expected to start today. He had a school-record 12th career shutout last Friday against Colorado College 2-0 in Minneapolis. He has a mark of 69-28-6 for the third-most wins in school history. Sophomore G Jeff Frazee will likely start Saturday. Freshman C Kyle Okposo had a hat-trick in Saturday's 8-1 win over CC. Freshman RW Jay Barriball has a seven-game point streak and junior D Alex Goligoski a six-game streak Bulldogs update UMD is 4-0-1 the last five home games vs. Minnesota. Freshman Alex Stalock has played the first six games of the season, the first Bulldog G to do so since Brant Nicklin in 1998-99. The Bulldogs have at least one power-play goal in every game to lead Division I at 13-for-45 (28.9). UMD is without senior G Josh Johnson (hand injury). Coach Scott Sandelin was piecing together a lineup Thursday for today because of a number of injuries from last week.
