Kevin Ratzsch scored 26 points as Northern State beat Minnesota Duluth69-64 on Saturday in a game between two of the top men's basketball teams in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference before 6,613 spectators in Aberdeen, S.D.
Kyle Schwan added 13 points as Northern State(13-3 overall, 6-3 NSIC) had four players reach double figures in scoring. Ron White scored 14 points to lead UMD (13-7, 7-3), which was shaky from the free-throw line for the second straight night, going 15-for-25.
ST. SCHOLASTICA 68, NORTHLAND 62
Sophomore Chris Hamers was 5-for-8 from 3-point range and scored 21 points to lead the Saints to the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference victory on Alumni Day at Reif Gym.
Sophomore Danny Schmitz added 15 points for St. Scholastica (6-9, 3-2).

Ryan Cannata had 16 points to lead the Lumberjacks (2-12, 1-4).
WISCONSIN-STEVENS POINT 104, WISCONSIN-SUPERIOR 60
Pete Rortvedt scored 23 points and had six rebounds to lead the fourth-ranked Pointers to the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory before 362 spectators at Mertz Mortorelli Gym in Superior.
Khalifa El-Amin added 18 points for Stevens Point (13-2, 7-0). The Pointers shot 67.7 percent in the first half in building a 59-33 lead and finished 14-for-28 from 3-point range.
Ray Byrns (18 points) and Jake Smith (16) combined for 34 points for UWS (9-7, 3-5)

MINNESOTA DULUTH 60, northern state 57
Kelsey Hewitt scored 16 points and Stephanie Reiter added 11 as the Bulldogs held on for the NSIC road victory.

Jheri Booker added 10 points, five rebounds and three steals for UMD (9-8, 6-4).
Jenna Higgins paced Northern State (9-7, 5-4) with 12 points.
ST. SCHOLASTICA 65, NORTHLAND 48
Taylor Fellbaum notched a career-high in scoring for the second straight contest as the freshman from Minong scored 13 points to lead the host Saints to a 65-48 UMAC victory on Alumni Day.
Junior Kirsten Haukom had a double-double with12 points and 10 rebounds, while Laura Amys added a team-high 12 rebounds for St. Scholastica (5-10, 3-2).
Lindsey Hamm paced Northland (7-7, 3-2) with10 points.
WISCONSIN-STEVENS POINT 74, WISCONSIN-SUPERIOR 36
Katie Webber had 17 points to lead the 10th-ranked Pointers to the WIAC road victory.

Eleven players scored for Stevens Point (15-1, 7-0), which led 41-19 at halftime.
Kaitlyn Houser had 11 points to lead UWS (4-11,0-7), but the Yellowjackets couldn't overcome 21 turnovers and 27.5 percent shooting.
