Clyde hosts Christmas CD release event

High school musicians and professional players are both featured on “A Christmas By the Lake - Volume X,” which has its CD release show from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at Clyde Iron Works.
The two-CD collection has music by 33 acts, including Lake Superior College Concert Choir, Veikko Lepisto, Gina Lee, Denfeld High School’s Solid Gold, Bill and Kate Isles and Superior Singers.
CDs are $15 and is available at Super One Foods, I Lake It, Engwall Florist locations, Schmitt Music, Big Daddy’s Burgers and at bluebirdfoundation.org .
Proceeds from sales go to the Bluebird Foundation, which advocates for regional kids in the arts.
