A 31-year-old Cloquet man was sentenced to 125 months in prison on Wednesday in Carlton County District Court, having previously been convicted on a pair of felony methamphetamine charges, a Cloquet Police Department news release said.
Earlier this month, Andrew Jennissen was tried and found guilty by a Carlton County jury of selling large quantities of meth in the city of Cloquet.
He was found guilty of first-degree sales of meth and third-degree possession of meth.
Jennissen was arrested in April, following an extensive investigation by the Cloquet police. During their investigation, the Cloquet police said they purchased a first-degree amount of meth from Jennissen and later executed a search warrant at a residence in Cloquet.
Jennissen will be sent to a Minnesota Department of Corrections facility in St. Cloud, according to state court records. He is currently in the Carlton County Jail awaiting transfer.
