Duluth plans to hold its annual Veterans Day observance at 10:50 a.m. Saturday in the Great Hall of the Depot, 506 W. Michigan St.

The event will immediately follow the inaugural Veterans Day parade through downtown Duluth. The march of veterans will start at 9:30 p.m. from the old Armory, 13th Avenue East and London Road, traveling along London Road to Superior Street and ending at the Depot.

Col. Mark R. Johnson, commanding officer of the 148th Fighter Wing, will serve as guest speaker with Mayor Herb Bergson acting as master of ceremonies.

The event is free and open to the public.
