The city of Duluth has released the following schedule of events to mark Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
At 6 p.m. Sunday there will be an ecumenical celebration at Christ Temple Victory Center, 330 N. 59th Ave. W, featuring guest speaker is Tyrone Maxwell. Singers to include Shiloh Temple Sing-ers, Peace Church group CLEAR, and Minnesota Teen Challenge Men's Choir.
Also at 6 p.m. Sunday, the PBS documentary "You Don't Have to Ride Jim Crow," produced by Duluth News Tribune editorial page editor Robin Washington at Peace Church, 1111 N. 11th Ave. E.
Monday events include a free breakfast at 7 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 230 East Sky-line Parkway, followed by a large screen broadcast of Roslyn McCallister Brock's speech from Minneapolis, followed by a local program at 9 a.m.
For the Martin Luther King Jr. Day March, people will gather beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Washington Center, which is located at Fourth Street and Lake Avenue. The march to the DECC begins at 11 a.m., with the rally scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center.

"Waging a Living: Working Overtime in Pursuit of the Elusive American Dream" will be screened at 6 p.m. Monday at Lakeview Celebration Church, 2331 W. Third St.
