A main Duluth water line along Grand Avenue suffered two breaks Monday afternoon, one at Spring Street and one at 65th Avenue West.
The breaks were sending muddy water into the street.
Howard Jacobson, director of water and gas supply for the city, said the breaks were small and that no major water outages were reported. He said the breaks should be repaired late Monday evening and that they may have been caused by changes in pressure as the city works on the main western water reservoir.
