The Duluth City Council's new president for 2007 is 5th District Councilor Russ Stover.
Stover was elected unanimously before Mayor Herb Bergson's State of the City speech Monday night at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. Stover succeeds At Large Councilor Roger Reinert as president. First District Councilor Laurie Johnson was unanimously elected council vice president Monday.
