The Rev. Jan Michael Joncas will give the speech "Hymnody as Ecumenical Bridge" at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Scholastica's Somers Lounge. Hymnody refers to the singing of hymns.
Senior adult fellowship/Bible study, Thursday, Feb. 14 and Friday, Feb. 15
The senior adult fellowship of the Bayside Baptist Church in Superior will meet at 11 a.m. Friday for a potluck lunch. Deborah Anderson, weekend anchor for WDIO, will be the guest speaker. A free-will offering will be taken.

Bill Beckstrand, First Lutheran director of music ministries and theologian, will present, as part of the church's Lent series, at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
At 5:30 p.m. there will be a service and at 6:15 p.m. there will be a Lenten agape meal.
