Valentine's Day
Lutheran Church of Christ the King will have a Valentine's Day block party from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14. There will be food and games as members meet their neighbors and friends.
Health and wellness fair
Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1325 N. 45th Ave. E., will have a health and wellness fair from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21.
'Living in Recovery'

The event "Spirituality of Recovery: Living in Recovery" will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at McCabe Renewal Center. The group considers where life management tools can aid continued healing, change and growth from addiction. There is a $5 suggested donation. For more, call 724-5266.
Chili cook-off

Salem Covenant Church will have a free community pancake breakfast from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21.

Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity will have its monthly neighborhood breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14.
Gospel and Bluegrass Extravaganza

The Fish Heads Gospel and Bluegrass Extravaganza will begin with a concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, at Lester Park United Methodist Church. Dinner will be at 5 p.m. Cost is $15 (concert and dinner) or $12.50 for the concert. Cost is $20 at the door. To make a reservation, call 525-4373.
