Tables are available for fabric sale at Hope UMC

Hope United Methodist Church, 301 W. St. Marie St., is looking for people to rent tables during a fabric sale that will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18, from 9 a.m. to noon. People may rent a table for $10 and sell fabric, books and other items. The money raised for the table rental will go to the building fund for a new roof. For more information, call Sue at 728-2406.

Gabriel Project benefit at McCabe Saturday evening, Aug. 21

The Gabriel Project provides material and moral support for families in the Hillside neighborhoods while working toward social and economic justice in Duluth. Help support the Gabriel Project by gathering on Saturday, Aug. 21, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with staff and supporters at the McCabe Renewal Center, 2125 Abbotsford Ave. There will be hors d'oeuvres and music by local performers. 'Hero Quest' VBS starts next week at Lester Park UMC

Search for women's voices in Hebrew Bible continues
