The Chmielewski Funtime Band will be headlining this weekend's Oktoberfest Duluth at Tycoons Zenith Alehouse, 132 E. Superior Street. The award-winning family polka band started in 1882 and is now in its fifth generation.
The Sept. 21 and 22 celebration will include Oktoberfest-style beers, German food, and entertaining, open-to-the-public contests including a sauerkraut eating competition and a traditional Bavarian strongman competition.
