A man and a 15-year-old boy were charged Friday in Sawyer County Circuit Court with the murder of a 93-year-old Radisson, Wis., woman on May 3.

Christopher L. Roalson, 27, of Radisson, and Austin R. Davis, 15, of Exeland, Wis., are both charged with first-degree intentional homicide and burglary in connection with the slaying of Irena Roszak, whose body was found in the home where she lived alone.

Davis is scheduled to make his initial court appearance on June 15. Roalson is scheduled to make his initial appearance on June 22.

Initial reports indicated that Roszak was stabbed

15 times with two large knives while she slept. The brutal stabbing had satanic overtones, authorities said, citing information from one of the accused.
