Two suspects were arrested early this morning after a high-speed chase that started in central Minnesota's Douglas County.

At 2:06 a.m., a Douglas County sheriff's deputy attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding on County Road 82 west of Brandon, Minn.

The driver sped off, triggering a pursuit that lasted for about 10 miles with speeds reaching 115 mph.

The chase entered Grant County and ended when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it wound up in a ditch near Grant County Road 10 and Highway 79.

Two men in the vehicle attempted to flee the scene on foot but were apprehended, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

One of the suspects, Dane Alexander Huisman, 19, of Evansville, was taken into custody for fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle and driving while intoxicated.

A juvenile passenger was also arrested.

Huisman is currently being held in the Douglas County Jail.

The Grant County Sheriff's Office assisted in the pursuit.
