Comet PanSTARRS joins the company of an old white pine tree in Normanna Township north of Duluth on Tuesday in evening twilight. You can see the comet yourself through binoculars on the next clear night. Hold your fist at arm's length out toward the west-northwest horizon about 45-50 minutes after sunset, about 8-8:15 p.m. The comet should be somewhere just above your fist.
