Amber Carringten and Scott Johnson, both of Duluth, plan to be married Aug. 16 in Duluth Vineyard Church.
Her mother is Sharyn Carringten of Hibbing. His parents are Brian and Christine Johnson of Britt.
The future bride, a 2003 graduate of Hibbing High School, graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at St. Luke's hospital in Duluth.
The future groom, a 2004 home-school graduate, graduated this year with a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from the College of St. Scholastica, where he is pursuing a master's degree in occupational therapy.
