  • Duluth mayoral candidates John Fedo and Gary Doty squared off in front of a supportive crowd last night at the Memorial Recreation Center in West Duluth. The candidates were questioned for an hour by more than 50 people.
  • About 250 workers at Diamond Tool and Horseshoe Co. of Duluth will be laid off for the week of Oct. 21-28, a company spokesman said yesterday.
