  • The Duluth City Council and the St. Louis and Carlton County boards all recently passed resolutions supporting efforts to post fish consumption advisories at boat landings along the St. Louis River. Carlton County has already posted warning signs on the river.
  • Amid growing criticism of rising garbage rates, Western Lake Superior Sanitary District officials said yesterday that landfill disposal fees won't increase in 1992.
