  • New hockey boards and glass for the Duluth Arena came closer to reality yesterday when the Duluth Kiwanis Club pledged $15,000 for the equipment. The club will raise the money at their fourth annual television auction April 29.
  • Name changes for 23 streets in Duluth Heights went into effect yesterday. The changes were initiated by the Duluth Heights Community Club, recommended by the City Planning Commission, and finally approved by the City Council.
