  • The Duluth City Council last night delayed consideration of a proposal for an apartment and townhouse project on a 40-acre tract in the Chester Park neighborhood. The developer requested the delay to change some features that neighbors have found objectionable.
  • More than 3,000 Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts are expected at Expo 70, the 1970 Lake Superior Council Scout exposition, tomorrow in the Duluth Arena. The exposition will feature over 100 exhibits of Scout crafts, skills and equipment. News Tribune
