  • A bill introduced in the Minnesota Senate yesterday would establish a comprehensive county court system in St. Louis County and would abolish municipal and magistrate courts effective Jan. 1, 1974. The legislation would provide six full-time judges for the county.

  • Unysis Corp. is considering bringing 600 to 700 computer-related jobs to Duluth and the Iron Range, said Jim Gustafson, commissioner of the Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board. The jobs involve electronically inscribing bar codes for the U.S. Postal Service.
  • Duluth narcotics officers yesterday seized an estimated 25 grams of cocaine from an East Hillside apartment.
