A 28-year-old man died from accidental electrocution this morning in rural St. Louis County.
According to a press release from the St. Louis County Sheriff's Department, Duane Earl Jensen of Buyck, Minn., was part of a construction crew loading tree removal debris onto a truck in Buyck, which is 15 miles west of Orr.
Jensen died when the truck's boom came in contact with an overhead power line around 11:22 a.m. A fellow worker and Buyck Fire Department first responders gave him CPR before he was transported to the Cook Hospital, where he later died.
The accident is being investigated by the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry.
