Buses to run to DECC Thanksgiving meal

The Duluth Transit Authority will suspend all regular routes and STRIDE bus services on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27. Regular DTA service will resume on Nov. 28 with additional bus service that day to the Miller Hill Mall area.

The Duluth Transit Authority will suspend all regular routes and STRIDE bus services on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27. Regular DTA service will resume on Nov. 28 with additional bus service that day to the Miller Hill Mall area.

DTA drivers and staff will volunteer their time on Thanksgiving to help shuttle dinner guests in Duluth and Superior to the 19th annual free Thanksgiving Day Dinner at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. All DTA shuttle services to and from the DECC are free and open to the public.

The DTA will provide service in Duluth along Grand Avenue and Superior Street from 57th Avenue West to 24th Avenue East from 10:40 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. This bus will board passengers at all bus stops along the route.

In addition, the DTA will provide direct shuttle services from several locations in Duluth and Superior, includ-ing the CHUM Drop-in Center, Domiano Center, YWCA, Morgan Park Manor, Solid Rock Mission, Clifford Lund, Royalton Manor, Peter Rich Center and the Superior center-city bus stop at 14th Street and Tower Avenue. Shut-tle schedules will be posted at these locations.
