Photnicha Buabarn of Songkhla, Thailand, and James Lukan of Duluth were married July 21 on the Vista Queen in the Duluth Harbor.
Her parents are Ninlawan and Sawang Buabarn of Songkhla. His parents are John and Marianne Lukan of Duluth.
The bride chose the groom's sister, Ann Marie Lukan, as matron of honor.
The groom chose his brother, John Lukan, as best man.
The bride graduated from Bangkok University in 2003 with a diploma in business.

The groom, a 1992 graduate of Duluth East High School, graduated from North Dakota State University in Fargo in 1997 with a bachelor's degree. He is a systems analyst for CMGrp Inc. in Minneapolis.
